End User License Agreement

The boring but important bit. Plain language version: one human, unlimited projects, no resale, no reverse engineering. Read on for the rest.

1. The grant

When you buy a plugin from Plugin Snacks("we", "us"), we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use that plugin under the terms below. The license is per user. If a second person needs to use the plugin, they need a second license.

2. What you can do

  • Install the plugin on as many machines as you personally use.
  • Use the plugin in unlimited commercial and personal projects.
  • Receive free updates within the major version line you purchased.
  • Continue to use the version you bought, forever, offline.

3. What you can't do

  • Share, sublicense, sell, or rent the plugin or your license key.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the plugin binaries.
  • Bundle the plugin into another product without a written commercial agreement.
  • Use the plugin in workflows that violate Adobe's terms or applicable law.

4. License keys

Your license key is signed by us and verifies offline. We never call home for routine validation. If your key is compromised through your sharing it, we may revoke it at our discretion. If it's compromised through no fault of yours, contact support and we'll issue a replacement.

5. Ownership

The plugin is licensed, not sold. We retain all intellectual property in the software. The footage you cut with our plugins is, of course, yours.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The plugin is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

Our total liability under this license is capped at the amount you paid for the plugin in the preceding twelve months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Termination

This license terminates automatically if you breach it. On termination you must stop using and delete the plugin. The refund policy stays in effect during the refund window regardless of termination.

9. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
